Marcom Executive / Copy Writer
Job Description:
- Developing highly effective, original and targeted marketing copy for the promotion and sale of the products.
- Working in tandem with other departments of the Organization in writing & editing creative materials for promotions, direct marketing (email, newsletter), advertisements as well as website content, etc.
- A thorough understanding of the target audience and maintaining the right tone of voice while writing copy.
Basic Tasks:
- Write & Edit articles in Chinese and Malay.
- Check grammatically errors, typographical errors, wrong symbols and other errors on the article.
- Write articles according to the target market.
- Edit copies/wordings on Artworks for Chinese and Malay market.
- Present the edited version to editor or Department Head for posting.
- Meticulously check and edit images, texts, and usage of words.
- Write themes, slogans, banner ads
- Check websites for errors.
Job Requirements:
- Above Average Communication skills in both Malay and Chinese.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (for editing text/words).
- Minimum of 1 year working as a copywriter in a gaming company or digital agency.
- Demonstrates an understanding of online content development and online advertising.
