How to Socket Accessories
First, you have to talk to the NPC Gemologist Dan to call out the Gems DIY interface, and then select ‘Jewelry Crafting’ from the menu.

Drag and drop an accessory and a Gem into the respective boxes in the Jewelry Crafting window and then drag and drop a ‘Diamond’ into the small box in the middle.

Click on the ‘Start Crafting’ button to kick-start the process. The window shown below will pop up when the process successfully completes.

Note: The Diamond will perish after a successful forge in the process of jewelry crafting. A Diamond can be used ONCE only.
It is not mandatory to have a Diamond in the Jewelry Crafting process, BUT a Diamond can greatly raise the success rate. If you start the crafting process without a Diamond, the forge may fail. In this most unfortunate case, your Gem will perish, but your accessory will survive.

Socket your accessories with as many mighty Gems as you can to get the most from the glitz and gleam of your stones!
